The protagonist, Hinata, is a new school counselor. She throws herself into solving the problems of students troubled by human relations or problem parents, to whom she is an adult who is neither a parent nor a teacher and can be on their side to the end.
"I love you, Ms. Hinata…" One day, she receives a sudden confession from a male student who comes to consult her. The next day, however, he is discovered to have met with a mysterious death. In a world without the boy, a hunt for the criminal who caused his death begins. Vicious bullying at school, over-controlling parents, the boy's own history of delinquency and dark relationships, and… the reason for his "confession" the day before he died.
